CABRILLO MIDDLE SCHOOL
Program Coordinator: Karime Rivera (krivera@scu.edu)
Volunteer as a tutor for academically gifted middle schoolers at Cabrillo Middle School. This program and the tutoring focus most heavily on STEM tutoring and help with pushing the students' out-of-classroom learning in STEM subjects forward. This program qualities for ELSJ hours and is a great way to get involved with he broader Santa Clara community especially if you are a STEM major.

CORAL TUTORING
Program Coordinator: Malia Hardy (mhardy@scu.edu)
Join us at CORAL, where you’ll assist with a variety of activities, from crafts and occasional homework help to outdoor play. Your role will depend on what the students are working on when we arrive, making each day different and engaging.
Times: Thursdays, 4:15-6:00 PM
Requirements: COVID vaccination + booster, TB test or proof, easy paperwork & fingerprinting (we’ll guide you through!).
HUGHES ELEMENTARY

MONTAGUE ELEMENTARY
Program Coordinator: Jasmine Santacruz (jsantacruz@scu.edu)
Partnering with Hughes Elementary, SCU students will get the opportunity to give their time to after-school tutoring for Hughes Elementary students, and engage in a knowledge-sharing experience, contributing their time and knowledge as tutors for kids who might otherwise struggle to secure tutoring services.
Times: Wednesdays, 1:15-2:45 PM
Requirements: TB test or proof, easy paperwork!
Support elementary school students and staff at Montague Elementary by engaging students during their lunchtime! Play outdoor games, build connections, and be a resource for the staff.
Times: Fridays, 11:45 AM-1:00 PM

Hi! I’m Verónica and I’m a senior majoring in Computer Science and Engineering and minoring in Political Science. I am from Salem, Oregon. I enjoy hiking, Legos, reading, and playing/watching sports. I’m excited to be returning to SCCAP as the E&M Department Coordinator. I look forward to creating new volunteering opportunities and planning fun events this year!
