Virtual immigration series 2020

Immigration is an important topic, especially today, because it involves millions of people worldwide coming from all different walks of life. This year we hosted a week long virtual series highlighting different facets of immigration and how we can work together for more humane and just treatment of immigrants and undocumented persons.

We recognize that this series is not fully encompassing of all experiences of immigration and by recognizing this want to express that learning about the intersections involved in immigration needs to be ongoing. Through educating ourselves on these issues we can become better activists and work towards justice. This page provides additional resources to learn more about the many intersectional issues related to immigration and policies and challenges migrants, immigrants and refugees face. We are grateful to the work of community organizers from Sacred Heart Community Service for helping gather these resources.
