For those who are looking for ways to channel their inner activist, the On-Campus Advocacy Department is the place for you! While some SCCAP programs are more service-oriented, OCA allows for the opportunity to learn about and advocate for different social justice topics such as immigration, labor, feminism, environmentalism, and LGBTQ+ rights. Explore one or explore all (since all of them are connected anyways through intersectionalities of oppression and liberation, right? ;) ) Did you know that this department is responsible for some of the year's biggest events such as Rainbow Prom, Slut Walk, and Drag Show? Now you do! We look forward to seeing you there!

I am a junior communications major with an emphasis in digital filmmaking. I'm from the Greater Seattle Area, which has led me to become a fan of alternative rock music, independent films, and doing anything in nature! I'm excited to run AWC this year and work with campus employees to obtain the workers' rights they deserve.

Hi, my name is Kalen Abe and I'm majoring in English and Ethnic Studies! I love to read, run, and eat good food. Come through if you'd love to nerd out over women, gender, sexuality race/racism, religion, the state of the environment, the state of America, and all the other areas that feminism relates to!

I'm a sophomore Environmental Studies and Anthropology double major. I'm from Milwaukee, WI, and like a true Wisconsinite I love all things dairy, especially cheese! Other passions include backpacking, chess, crime/police procedural shows, and nature docuseries.
