While all other departments focus on advocating for issues taking place in our surrounding communities, the On Campus Advocacy department engages with issues taking place on our own campus. The department consists of:
- Advocacy for Workers on Campus - an advocacy group that serves and protect the rights of service workers on campus
- ENACT - an advocacy and discussion group working to create dialogue about environmental injustices and push the university to divest from fossil fuels
- Feminists For Justice - a discussion group revolving around intersectional feminism
- Queer & Allies - a discussion group for the LGBTQ+ community which also plans Rainbow Prom and Drag Show for the campus community
- Student Labor Solidarity - an activism and discussion group working to help adjunct faculty unionize

She/Her/Hers I'm Midwest-born and raised, and aim to be a forensic anthropologist post-graduation. I love cheese, backpacking, chess, dinosaurs, Formula 1 racing, and true crime! On-campus I'm also a Xavitas CF and the President of the SCU Chess Club. Off-campus I work for Original Cream Puffs and Pink Umbrella Theater Company. I'm excited to continue shedding light on overlooked groups and issues within our campus community through education and action, and to challenge the current systems of SCU.

He/Him/His Hey everyone, I’m Matt! I’m a junior Econ major here at SCU and I’m so happy to be a part of SCCAP this year. On my off time I like playing guitar (and attempting) to sing. I’m super into hiking and cycling too and I like to go on long rides throughout the Bay Area. I’m really excited to join a community of people that care greatly about on-campus affairs and working on issues that affect us all. Specifically in my program of AWC, I’m excited to help bridge a student-on campus worker connection.

She/Her/Hers I am a third year environmental studies and sociology double major with sustainability and religious studies minors. I love trying out new recipes, going to restaurants I haven’t tried yet, shopping for graphic tees at secondhand stores, and buying books that I will hopefully someday actually read. I’m ready this year to continue pushing for major change on our own campus, as well as help to work on improving SCCAP and its culture. I can’t wait to meet other like-minded, passionate people also!

She/Her/Hers Hi everyone! My name is Ria Panda and I'm a sophomore majoring in Management Information Systems. I'm super passionate about social justice, activism, and awareness and I love to talk about these topics with my friends. I also love coffee/boba, making new playlists on Spotify, painting and any type of art, and exploring new cafes and museums. I'm super excited to be part of SCCAP because of the amazing team I get to work with and put on events that create tangible change on campus within each program. I am grateful to be surrounded by such an inspiring group of people!

I am currently a second year double majoring in Environmental Studies and Public Health, with a minor in Sustainability. In my free time I like to play Nintendo (3DS and Switch), and also spend time with friends :) I’m excited to bring more awareness to SCCAP as an organization so more students can support it/be involved. I’m looking forward to building community through hosting Q&A meetings and planning Rainbow Prom!
